Hi, I’m Dr. Isha Kelkar PT, DPT, MPH!

My name is Isha Kelkar (she/her), and I am a physical therapist, specializing in pelvic health, serving the DC, Alexandria, and Arlington area. This practice is a culmination of my life’s work, and I am passionate about helping patients manage and make sense of their pelvic floor dysfunction, especially for those who feel stuck or unsure where to turn to next.

Treatment Philosophy
Isha meets patients exactly where they are and partners with them to move toward their goals. Her approach is centered on individualized care, empowerment through education, and thoughtfully tailored treatment sessions that help patients return to activities they enjoy with confidence.

Inclusive, Trust-Centered Care
Isha is deeply committed to creating a welcoming treatment space where patients feel listened to, supported, and cared for as their authentic selves. Building trust and helping patients regain a sense of control over their symptoms is central to her work.

Isha’s background in public health is key to her understanding of the body. She understands that dysfunction does not stem from a singular cause, and uses a multi-factorial approach to address movement patterns and goals.
